Admit it. We are all concerned with budget. The first thing that I really take into consideration is the money. Will I be able to afford this gadget? Should I be able to use this in the long run? Is this practical? And the questions go on and on and on.
You know if you are too concerned with budget, you also get the quality of the gadget for that price. SJCAM is a budget action cam, it’s a fact. Since I was new to action cam few years back, I have decided getting SJCAM. I had my Amazon gift card back then so I took advantage of getting one (only paid the shipping fee via Johnny Air).
Read more to get to know the reasons why you should consider getting a high quality action cam.
The battery capacity of SJCAM is only 800 maH, GoPro is as 1100 maH. Be the judge. Obviously. GoPro’s battery life is much longer than the SJCAM.
Photo Quality & Video Quality
GoPro prevails when it comes to photo and video quality. See proof below:

I really find it hard to press on the physical buttons of SJCAM. Especially if rusts gathered up. I did observe that the buttons in SJCAM gets more rusts than the GoPro does.
I highly recommend to rinse your action cam and its selfie stick with fresh water especially if you have been using it at the beach.
The SJCAM action cam I bought doesn’t have any wireless transfer available so photos and videos aren’t quickly transferred unless you are using a computure or perhaps the MobileLite G2 Wireless Transfer. However, today’s SJCAM models have wireless transfer of photos.
With GoPro, wireless transfer of photos and videos are easy as 1, 2, 3. You just have to download the Capture App (used to be GoPro app) at Playstore or iTunes. Connect your camera with your phone. I am proud of the switch. Any thoughts?
